Could J.J. Watt Line up on Offense in Sunday’s Pro Bowl?

We may just see Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt lined up on offense in Sunday’s Pro Bowl.

Want some proof?

This is Watt catching a pass from Buffalo Bills defensive lineman Kyle Williams. Nice pass for a large guy. We all saw a sampling of Watt’s catching abilities, as evidenced by his three receiving touchdowns during the 2014 season. Watt, who’s trying to work on being used in flexible positions, has been campaigning John Harbaugh, who had this to say about the MVP candidate (via NFL.com).

That might be something we could have up our sleeves, absolutely. We got a couple ideas. You got a lot of guys with skills out here.

Harbaugh also hinted that Watt might not be the only guy who plays a different position. Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Justin Houston has also expressed interest in playing tight end.

According to Harbaugh, the Pro Bowl should be about experimenting with some of the best players and letting them try out some new things.

And why not?

Here’s Watt showcasing his field goal skills.
