Andrew Luck Claims He Feels “Deflated” After Loss to Patriots

Andrew Luck

After being selected as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 Pro Bowl, Indianapolis Colts’ quarterback Andrew Luck described his most recent NFL experience, a loss to the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship game (via NFL.com).

The energy is sort of sucked out of you, you do feel deflated.

With his response receiving chuckles and giggles from the media, Luck realized what he said and muddled through it.

Aww, shoot. Ummm, well. (Audible sigh.)

Using the taboo word “deflated,” Luck quickly retorted.

I don’t know. Things in the media tend to be blown out of proportion a little bit. It’s the nature in where we are today in society. You can’t take anything away from them being a heck of a team and they are a good football team.

Glossing over the question that the New England Patriots may have been using deflated footballs, Luck didn’t comment on how he prefers a football.

Everyone has their preference and our equipment manager sort of handle our footballs in a sense. I get them as they are, I guess.

Never one to stir up too much trouble, it looks like Luck is staying neutral regarding the growing scandal.
