Tony Romo Ranks Top of His Class for Month of December

The numbers don’t lie when it comes to Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback Tony Romo and his December statistics, which have him ranking at the top of his class among his fellow quarterbacks for the month.

Yes, folks. We are talking about Tony Romo when we look at these numbers provided by ESPN. December has been a kind month to Romo and the Cowboys are winning games as a result. Romo and the boys clinched the NFC East division title last week due to Philadelphia’s loss and because they walked away with a massive win over the Indianapolis Colts. Currently, the Cowboys sit at 11-4 as they compete in their last game against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.

If Romo remains clean with no picks for how ever long he plays in Sunday’s game, this will mark four games in a row he hasn’t thrown an interception. So far, Romo’s December has been a one to remember. Here is a little look at how Romo ranks over the next four quarterbacks who are looking to nudge him off of his top ranking.

Whether you love him or hate him, you have to admit Romo is playing some amazing football and he hasn’t let last year’s back surgery hamper him one bit. Looking to finish off December with smashing success, Romo’s real test comes in January. It’s been since 2009 that the Cowboys have been in a playoff game, so Romo will have to perform near flawlessly for the team to conquer their way through their NFC competition as they ride high on the dream of playing in the Super Bowl.
