St. Louis Rams Boast Back-to-Back Shutouts

The St. Louis Rams have now compiled two consecutive shutouts. Last week the Rams successfully closed out the Oakland Raiders by an astonishing score of 52-0. In Week 14, the Rams shut out the Washington Redskins 24-0.

This is quite a rare feat that the Rams have not accomplished since 1945.

While we are talking the Rams shutting out two of the worst NFL teams in the Washington Redskins (3-10) and Oakland Raiders (2-11) that sit well at the bottom of the totem pole, this is still quite the amazing accomplishment for the team.

Certainly being one of the more unpredictable teams because of their dominating defense, the Rams have also beat their share of more competitive opponents like the Seattle Seahawks back in Week 7 and the Denver Broncos in Week 11. So, it’s not always a cakewalk when the Rams win.

Will the Rams be able to continue their shut-out streak and turn it into three next week against the Arizona Cardinals? Likely not, however they are on a roll and would certainly be motivated to claim victory over Arizona who beat them 31-14 in Week 10.
