Seahawks’ LB Bobby Wagner Calls out LeSean McCoy

The Seattle Seahawks never appeared to be challenged by the Philadelphia Eagles this last Sunday. In fact, Seahawks’ linebacker Bobby Wagner called out Eagles’ running back LeSean McCoy claiming he shied away from contact.

Wagner had these comments regarding McCoy to share in a radio interview with KIRO-AM (via NFL.com)

We really wanted to make sure he felt us every single time he got the ball. There was one play he fell back. It was me and him in the hole and he just fell down. He didn’t want no part of the contact, so I think that probably got to him.

This news comes after Seahawks’ cornerback Richard Sherman told reporters that the Legion of Boom “never felt threatened” by Chip Kelly’s offense.

McCoy ran for just 50 yards on 17 carries as the Eagles put up their worst game as far as total yards with only 139 for the day.

Both teams do a repeat of the Thanksgiving day matchups this week. The Seahawks look to continue their dominating win streak against the San Francisco 49ers while the Eagles take out their frustration at home against the Dallas Cowboys.
