Redskins Tickets Selling for as Little as $1.00

To say that the Washington Redskins fan base is a little fed up would be an understatement. The team is now 3-9 on the season and is 6-22 since a surprising playoff campaign back in 2012.

If you wanted evidence of a group of fans that really isn’t prepared to support this current product, there is no reason to look further than the ticket prices for Washington’s upcoming home outing against the St. Louis Rams (h/t CBS Sports).

Yes, that’s standing-room only tickets selling for as low as $1.00 on Ticketcity.com.

In terms of seats that you can actually sit in, those are going for as low at $6.00 on StubHub.com.

Unfortunately for Redskins fans who do decide to show up for this stinker, they will likely get a first-hand view of a dominating performance from a Rams team that is coming off a 52-0 victory against the Oakland Raiders and have defeated the Denver Broncos, Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers since Week 7.

The fans will also be able watch RGIII warm the bench against a team that Washington yielded two first rounders and a second rounder to trade up in the first round in the 2012 NFL draft to select.

Then again, Redskins fans can just drown their sorrows in quality beer from the 2014 World Cup.

The sadness is real here, guys and gals.
