Potential Shakeup with the Buffalo Bills

With a new ownership group in Buffalo, there seems to be some rumors going on around the NFL that the Bills could look to shake-up up the team’s front office.

Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio suggests that former Bills and Indianapolis Colts executive Bill Polian could be brought back to Western New York. Regardless of Polian’s potential position within the organization, these rumors seem to indicate that general manager Doug Whaley and CEO Russ Brandon could be out of jobs.

New owner Terry Pegula has no built-in relationships with any members of the current Bills front office. He’s also been noncommittal regarding the future of the organization.

Polian was the Bills general manager from 1986-1993 and is widely credited with building the team that earned four consecutive trips to the Super Bowl in the early 1990’s.
