DeMarco Murray: Playing on the Road ‘Turns Me On’

Running back DeMarco Murray weighed in on playing on the road as the Cowboys prepared for their Thursday Night Football matchup with the Chicago Bears at Soldier Field.

Murray had this to say about Thursday night’s game against the Bears, which can be considered a must win for the Cowboys (via ESPN.com).

I think, for me, I think that turns me on a little bit — to come into someone’s house and hear the boos and all that. I think it’s a great thing. We’ve just got to focus and have more patience, especially on the road, and not make many mistakes. I think we’ll be fine.

Murray may sound overconfident, but with their 5-0 record, the Cowboys remain the only undefeated NFL team while on the road this season. In fact Dallas’ current road streak started after a 45-28 loss to the Bears last December.

For Cowboys fans, let’s hope that Murray’s comments don’t act as a jinx. And let’s all hope that Murray is indeed turned on when it comes to the action (get your heads out of the gutter).
