Utah State WR Suspended for Soliciting a Prostitute

Come on now.

Utah State wide receiver Hayden Weichers was suspended from the team indefinitely on Tuesday for violating team rules. Reports are now surfacing that Weichers was cited for soliciting a prostitute, which is a class B misdemeanor in the state of Utah (via Good4Utah.com).

While the press release did not state exactly which rules were broken, Weichers was arrested on October 22nd for soliciting a prostitute, a class B misdemeanor. The arrest was confirmed by Logan City police chief Gary Jensen.

Weichers isn’t exactly a well-known player around the college football world, but the absurdity of him allegedly soliciting a prostitute surely does make this news. We all know college kids have raging hormones and the like, but this almost literally rewrites the book on idiocy.

The redshirt freshman had 10 receptions for less than 100 yards prior to being suspended. It remains to be seen if he will return to the team this season.
