According to NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the Houston Texans are “growing frustrated” with rookie defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, who is slated to miss Sunday’s game with the Philadelphia Eagles due to an illness.

Rapoport goes on to indicate that the Texans feel Clowney needs to “grow up.”

It remains to be seen exactly what has caused this frustration. Clowney suffered a meniscus tear early in Week 1 and missed the next five games before returning to action last week against the Tennessee Titans.

It could very well be an indication that they’re not happy with Clowney’s priorities during his rehabilitation from the knee injury. In any event, the Texans have gotten a whole two tackles from the No. 1 overall pick in eight games. T
