Did Atlanta Falcons’ DT Ra’Shede Hageman Try to Score Marijuana on Instagram?

There is no concrete evidence that Atlanta Falcons defensive tackle Ra’Shede Hageman actually went on Instagram to score some weed from other members of the social media site.

But there are a few screen captures out there that indicate posts sent from Hageman’s account involved an attempt to buy some marijuana.

SB Nation’s Atlanta Falcons site, The Falcoholic, originally found out about this message and posted an article on the topic. The site did go on to indicate that Hageman’s account could have been hacked.

Where have we heard this story before? Any time a professional athlete seems to get into trouble for making a fool of him or herself, the first excuse is almost always the the account was hacked.

And while there is no actual evidence that Hageman sent this message, some other posts from his account are equally hilarious.

Did he actually just get punked trying to pick up a woman on Instagram? I am foreign to that site, but figure it was all about posting photos of yourself doing boring and random things. There is no reason for a NFL player to take to social media to pick up chicks.

If true, that’s even more embarrassing than attempting to buy some weed off social media.

Of course, this is nothing more than speculation. Hageman’s account could very well have been hacked. Heck, we don’t even know if these messages are real.

In any event, the rookie defensive tackle did drop in the 2014 NFL draft due to concerns over maturity and off-field decision making.

And in reality, this would classify as being an immature mistake from someone lacking in the decision-making department.

Let’s hope for Hageman’s sake it’s not true.
