University of Cincinnati RB Dies in Motorcycle Accident

This is some horrible news right here. University of Cincinnati running back Chamoda Kennedy-Palmore was killed in a motorcycle accident on Thursday afternoon.

The freshman had tweeted out his desire to ride this specific type of motorcycile (R1 Raven) on Wednesday.

It appears that he was killed driving this vehicle after a another vehicle turned across a couple lanes of traffic, striking and killing Kennedy-Palmore.

The 19-year-old running back had made the Cincinnati football team as a freshman walk-on this season.

Cincinnati’s football program issued a statement after the death was confirmed (via NFL.com).

Our football program and University has suffered another great tragedy,” Tuberville’s statement read. “I’m a father first and a coach second and it’s always hard to put your thoughts into words during times like these. Chamoda was a talented non-scholarship player and a key member of our scout teams. He worked hard and earned his spot on the roster. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family.

It’s yet another tragic accident involving a student-athlete around the college football world.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Kennedy-Palmore’s family and the entire Cincinnati Bearcat football program.
