Notre Dame Dismisses Four in Connection to Academic Fraud

The University of Notre Dame football team, which is set to begin its season against Rice in two weeks time, has reportedly dismissed four players in connection with an academic fraud investigation.

It was previously reported that the four players under investigation were DaVaris Daniels, KeiVarae Russell, Ishaq Williams and Kendall Moore. So, it’s safe to assume that these are the very same players that Fox Sports is reporting were dismissed from the team.

Daniels, the best known of the four, recorded 49 receptions for 745 yards and seven touchdowns last season. He’s seen as one of the most gifted receivers in the nation.

The dismissals came after Notre Dame conducted an internal investigation on potential academic fraud within the football team.
