Tanard Jackson Claims This Suspension is Different From the Rest

You simply can’t make this stuff up. Washington Redskins safety Tanard Jackson, who was suspended indefinitely on Wednesday for violating the NFL substance abuse policy, is attempting to defend this latest incident.

Jackson apparently exchanged text messages with Chris Russell is ESPN 980 in Washington and had the following to relay to the masses.

Unfortunately for Jackson, the suspension begins immediately and he is unable to appeal it.

The safety has now been suspended four times since entering the NFL back in 2007 (via ESPN).

It’s safe to say that Jackson may be out of touch with reality at this point. In addition to his most recent suspension, the safety has not played in a NFL game since 2011. This means that even if he is reinstated following the 2014 season, Jackson would have then been out of the league for three seasons.
