Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Jered Weaver was pulled from their game against the Toronto Blue Jays in the third inning on Monday evening. Reports from Southern California indicate that he tweaked something during warm-ups.Â
#Angels RHP Jered Weaver is out of the game for reasons unknown. Hadn't thrown a pitch in the 3rd. Something happened during warmups

Weaver threw two perfect innings before being pulled. The severity of the injury is unknown, but it was enough for him to be taken out of action.
Jered Weaver has left today's game, Mike Scioscia is standing alone on the mound waiting for a new pitcher… this is very odd

The injury obviously caught the Angels off guard.
Update. The Angels are reporting that it is lower back tightness. Whatever that means.
Jered Weaver left tonight's game with lower back tightness.
