Baron Davis Looking to Make Comeback

Former NBA All-Star Baron Davis, who hasn’t played in each of the last two seasons, is looking to make a comeback to the NBA this fall. According to a report by Jared Zwerling of Bleacher Report, Davis wants the news out there that he’s prepared to play in 2014-2015.

Davis was once one of the better point guards in the NBA. His best season came as a member of the then New Orleans Hornets back in 2003-2004. He averaged 22.9 points, 4.3 rebounds and over seven assists per game that season.

A lottery pick out of UCLA back in 1999, Davis also helped the “We Believe” Golden State Warriors pull off a stunning upset over the No. 1 seeded Dallas Mavericks in the 2006-2007 playoffs.

At 35 years old and four years removed from being anywhere near an impact player in the NBA, it’s hard to imagine Davis being able to make good on his comeback attempt.

Let’s just hope he’s not abucted by aliens between now and when potential NBA suitors come calling in the fall.
