Don’t you just love stuff like this? From MLB.com, Lt. Lewis Cooper surprised his two little kids before the Washington Nationals game against the Houston Astros on Tuesday evening.
The obvious joy that his children, Joey and Maddie Cooper, felt was real here. And look how tightly he held his children when they were reunited and he had an opportunity to embrace them.
Cooper just recently returned from a six-month tour of duty in Afghanistan.
This gives a whole new meaning to the term “America’s Pastime.”
