At a time when it seems all the news we report on has to do with arrests, investigations and scandals, it’s always a breath of fresh air when a story like this pops up. Washington Redskins wide receiver Pierre Garcon, who has done tremendous community work since joining the NFL, raised $100K for the D.C. Boys and Girls Club.

The event took place Thursday night and a ton of local celebrities showed up. Jay Gruden, Brian Orakpo, DeSean Jackson and John Wall were among those on hand.
