The Minnesota Timberwolves indicated earlier this week that about 16 teams have called them about All-Star power forward Kevin Love, who appears to be on his way out of town. So it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that the Phoenix Suns are now reported to be interested in the big man.
Suns interested in Love deal w/best assets Dragic, Bledsoe & picks.NBA sources say it will take full max deal to control free agent Bledsoe.

The specifics are interesting here. Goran Dragic earned All NBA Third-Team honors this past season, putting up over 20 points per game. He’s under team control for another two years at just $7.5 million per season. Acquiring him in a deal for Love would be a solid get for Minnesota.
On the other hand, Eric Bledsoe likely wouldn’t end up with Minnesot in a potential deal. He plays the same position as Ricky Rubio, which is an indication that a third team would have to get involved. In addition to that, Spears indicated that it would take a max contract to net the point guard, who is a restricted free agent.
There would have to be other moving parts headed to Minnesota in this potential deal, including both of the Suns first-round picks.
If Phoenix were to give up Dragic, Bledsoe and multiple picks, it would be a mighty high price to pay.
