Johnny “Manzielmania” has been taking over the sports world since the Cleveland Browns drafted him, and it seems he is becoming so comfortable with the town. The Cleveland Indians want him to throw out the ceremonial first pitch against the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night.
According to Yahoo Sports, the Cleveland Indians have announced the 21 year old will get his shot on the bump before they shout “play ball!”
Season ticket sales for the Browns’ sky-rocketed with an additional 4,000 since they drafted Manziel. LeBron James’ making sure Johnny Football has been getting the recognition he “deserves,” has helped too. It’s no surprise Cleveland asked him to throw out the first pitch.
Between 50 Cent and Carley Rae Jepsen’s performances, there is absolutely no pressure for you Johnny. But let’s not start calling him Johnny Baseball quite yet.
