Gallery: LeBron James Car Collection

Just think about what you could do with a cool $25 million per season. Then go ahead and multiply that by about 10 and add another $20 million per year in endorsement deals. This is what the highest-paid athletes earn throughout their careers…and then some. Miami Heat forward LeBron James has been earning millions since he was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 NBA draft.

To say that James lives a life of luxury would be an understatement. Among the hobbies that he has taken up with that cash is car collecting. No, I am not talking about Hot Wheels here.

Let’s check out James’ car collection…past and present.

Doing the research on this specific model, it’s easy to draw the conclusion that James spent a minimum of $125,000 on it. According to Dupontregistry.com, the cheapest version of the 2009 Ferrari Spider goes for $159,000.

It’s safe to say James paid more for this toy, especially considering he bought it new and likely had all the extra toys provided. In fact, we are looking at $250,000 plus for this car. How does it feel that one of James’ cars is likely worth more than the payment you put down on your house?

The suggested retail value of this car is a minimum of $350,000. LeBron’s specific car had a specific license plate that only Johnny Manziel may now lay claim to.

Maybe James can pull that license plate out of one of the many garages he has for his ridiculous car collection. Of course, that’s if he decides to re-sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers this offseason.

Now here is a spiffy looking car. The all white paint job with some pretty awesome white rims. Valued at about $33,000 this is a car that the normal “folk” can afford.

Yet another car that the “normal folk” can afford, the Challenger is a mighty strong piece of equipment. What makes this specific car so awesome, is that the silver and blue pays tribute to James’ NFL team, the Dallas Cowboys.

Back to the pie in the sky. This is actually my dream car. A 2009 Rolls-Royce Phantom. Zero to 60 in 5.8 seconds with a top speed of 158 MPH and 453 horsepower. All the while looking like a jacked up Mercedes. Yes, please.  Oh, and former Cleveland Cavaliers teammate Shaquille O’Neal purchased this baby for James on his 25th birthday. With friends like that…

If you’re going to choose a retro car, this has to be on the top of your list. It can be seen in the cheesy old television show “Chips,” but somehow I envision LeBron looking better in this baby than Erik Estrada.

Oh man. This is one nifty looking car. With a price tag nearing a half of million, the Lamborghini Aventador is a status car. You know that you have made it with the top of the top if you’re even able to think about doling out that cash for this beauty. On that note, I am looknig for about 1,200 people to go in on one with me. Think about it, for just $600 a day, you could drive this beauty one day every other year. Why not?
