New York Yankees’ Derek Jeter Could Continue Career in Baseball

This time it would be as an owner, not a shortstop.

According to Mike Axisa of CBS Sports, the 39 year old (who will turn the big 4-0 at the end of the month) said he could see himself as a Major League team owner.

I’d like to think I would be a good one, says Jeter. Calling the shots, not answering to someone, that’s what interests me.

The multi-time Silver Slug and Golden Glove Award winner hasn’t spoken to any organizations as of yet to pursue this post-MLB career dream, however I think it is safe to say he would make a strong addition to any team.

The Captain will retire a New York Yankee at the end of the season as is already dominating the 2014 All-Star voting.
