Why Was Marshawn Lynch Missing in Action at The White House?

Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch was obviously absent from their celebration at the White House with President Barack Obama on Wednesday. Why is this?

We should recall that Lynch was extremely shy when it came to speaking to the media in public events held prior to the Super Bowl. Lynch’s mother snitched him out as to why he didn’t attend the D.C. trip, and this is what she told the Seattle Times..

He just said he didn’t want to go. Delisa Lynch said Marshawn Lynch has been mourning the recent death of a family member. But she said they’d had some recent talks and she thought her son was going to attend the ceremony anyway. No particular reason was given to me, she said. He just said he didn’t want to go.

I’m sorry, but who turns down a trip to the White House and snubs the president to celebrate with your team? Lynch’s obvious absence probably creates the opposite outcome in that now everyone is all over why he didn’t attend. Blending in with the crowd would have given him better results as far as not drawing attention in my opinion.

Or maybe this was the real reason..
