There might be some turnover on the court for the Indiana Pacers this offseason, but reports indicate that  president of basketball operations Larry Bird and the powers to be in the organization expect head coach Frank Vogel to be back with the team in 2014-2015.

Coming off yet another postseason loss at the hands of the Miami Heat, Vogel’s squad didn’t necessarily live up to expectations after an incredibly hot start to the regular season. Couple the recent Lance Stephenson situation into the equation with late-season struggles and there were some who thought Vogel wouldn’t be returning to the bench this fall.

Indiana has increased its win total in each of the last three seasons under Vogel, but has failed to come out of the Eastern Conference each time. At some point, it will have to take the next step if Vogel is expected to be around long term.
