NFL Draft: Patriots’ QB Jimmy Garoppolo to Fill Tom Brady’s Shoes in More Ways Than One

As you would say after a presidential election, “four more years,” that is likely when we’ll see second-round draftee Jimmy Garoppolo inherit the quarterback starting role for the New England Patriots. The quarterback out of Eastern Illinois University will possibly have to wait in line after the Patriots current backup quarterback, Ryan Mallett for a shot to fill Tom Brady’s shoes, or Uggs in some cases.

It sounds like Garoppolo is okay with patiently waiting, and is just thrilled to watch and learn from his favorite NFL player and hero, Brady who turns 37 this August and intends to play until he is 40-years old.

According to USA Today Sports..

It was unbelievable…I was speechless for a second. I’m not going to lie to you. It’s a very awesome scenario to go into.

For the women fans of Brady, who swoon over his every move, don’t worry as Garoppolo makes a respectable replacement to Brady in the looks department too. Or, if you weren’t a Patriots fan, you might want to change your mind. Possibly Bill Belichick is worried about a drop off in female fans when Brady retires, so he did his homework on this one.

Not too bad, right?
