Carolina Panthers’ Greg Hardy Arrested For Domestic Violence

Fresh off signing his one-year, $13.1 million franchise tender, Carolina Panthers defensive end Greg Hardy was arrested for suspicion of domestic violence in an incident involving his girlfriend.

Very few details are available at this point, but Hardy’s arrest is concerning for a Panthers’ team that was looking to sign the defensive end to a long-term contract this offseason. Hardy recorded 15 sacks in a Pro Bowl campaign last year.

He’s yet another NFL player that has been involved in a domestic violence incident this offseason, joining another big-name player in the form of Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice.
