The Patriots receiving options outside of Julian Edelman are bleak, to say the least. Names floating around that don’t exactly rock the Patriots world are Brandon LaFell, Jason Avant and Emmanuel Sanders. Steve Smith is a better option, but age is a concern for the long-term. I say do what it takes to keep Julian Edelman because.Danny Amendola, who was a huge waste of money isn’t cutting it. The Patriots lost Welker last year because of stubbornness, so they should figure out cap space issues later and make a play for Edelman. Thoughts?
