This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise to those familiar with the 49ers’ offseason plans, but according to a trusted source close to San Francisco, it is going to make a strong play for Vontae Davis. The former first-round pick of the Miami Dolphins fills a need and is Vernon Davis’ brother.
