Allen would fit Oakland’s need for a pass-rush 4-3 defensive end, but it’s unknown whether the veteran would show similar interest. Allen has indicated that he wants to go to a winning situation and the Raiders are in full rebuild mode.
According to the source, Oakland is seriously considering making an offer when free agency starts on Tuesday. It has the most cap room of any team in the NFL and could offer Allen a rather large annual salary on a short-term deal.
