New York Jets Owner Wants DeSean Jackson

New York Jets owner, Woody Johnson appears to have his sights set on Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson. Jackson is currently on the trading block, and a reunion of Michael Vick and Jackson could be in the near future if..

a deal is struck. According to the New York Post…

Woody Johnson sent shock waves through the NFL owners meetings Sunday, confirming the Jetsinterest in acquiring Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson either by trade or free agency if Jackson is released.

Furthermore, “Johnson mentioned Jackson by name repeatedly, which caused eyebrows to raise because Jackson is under contract with another team and mentioning him by name could be construed as tampering.”

It also seems like Johnson is trying to cover up his blatant interest in Jackson by claiming the Jets are interested in multiple talent in this area. Heck, they waited 10 days to acquire Michael Vick, so they can’t be that desperate now, could they? Nevertheless, we may see Jackson and Vick together sooner than you think.
