A Good Deed By An NFL Player; Christine Michael Takes A High School Girl To Her Prom

We are so often focused on the negative when an NFL player tangles with the law, or just speaks out of step. This feel-good story is quite the opposite as Seattle Seahawks running back Christine Michael is about to make a young ladies’ prom dreams come true.

Michael will be taking 18-year-old Taylor Kirkwood from Anahuac High School in Texas to prom in a couple of weeks. Taylor, who suffers from autism and has already endured surgery for scoliosis keeps a positive attitude on life, recently found out that Michael plans to escort her to the dance.

This is all possible due to Taylor’s mom, Stacie Holmes, who knew that Michael attended college at Texas A&M and it turns out that he also went to high school with Taylor’s cousin and they were good friends. So, the connections were made and needless to say, Taylor gets to take a handsome Super Bowl champion to her prom.

The exact prom dress isn’t determined yet, but according to Click 2 Houston, Taylor indicated it will be pink.
