The Falcons had one of the ugliest, disappointing seasons the NFL has seen in recent history, given their expectations to contend for a Super Bowl. It was sad to see Tony Gonzalez’s career end that way. Expect the Falcons’ front office to do everything in their power to stop the bleeding.Signing free agents is one way to do that. Their offensive line needs help and Matt Ryan made that clear. Stephen Jackson was a big pickup for them last year, but couldn’t stay healthy. IF the Falcons can avoid the injury bug (Julio, Roddy, Jackson and others)…they can return to being a contender. Jon Asamoah would be a great start.
