Maybe the current South Carolina coach is trying to pimp his quarterback. Not sure if that’s a positive or a negative for Shaw, as Spurrier once ran with Danny Wuerffel as a starting NFL QB. Remember, Spurrier himself was once a top-five pick of the 49ers. Unfortunately, Shaw won’t be going anywhere near that high.
