Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and his Arizona Cardinals will host the Jacksonville Jaguars this Sunday — minus one of the Jags’ top defenders.
Second-year cornerback Jalen Ramsey will not be playing due to a hand injury. While Fitzgerald should be relieved about not having to face Ramsey, he did share this compliment.
Fitzgerald upon hearing of Jalen Ramsey’s hand injury: “Jalen Ramsey with 1 hand is better than 95 % of the cornerbacks in the league.”

Fitzgerald’s comment does lead us to question whether he thinks Ramsey should still play. But on the other hand, and perhaps inadvertently, Fitzgerald has completely thrown shade at the league’s other corners.
Regardless, Fitzgerald will not have to worry about Ramsey bothering his game on Sunday. Though, Jacksonville’s defense — even without Ramsey — is no picnic for its opposing teams.
The Cardinals head into Sunday’s game looking for their fifth win of the year.
