From the reaction of people on Twitter, the final score will not tell us who the biggest loser of Tuesday’s Wild Card Game between the Minnesota Twins and New York Yankees was. Many fans let it be known that, regardless of the outcome, ESPN was the No. 1 loser for its poor coverage.

At least one person wasn’t crazy about the announcers.

For the most part, though, the scorn of Twitter was directed at the poor camera work from the Worldwide Leader. Camera work which didn’t always focus on the right part of the field, if it was on the field, at all.

The camera work was poor throughout the game. But when Joe Mauer had a potential game-tying home run caught on the warning track, it was most noticeable.

Certainly ESPN’s final MLB broadcast of 2017 was not one of the network’s finest moments.
