Michigan quarterback Wilton Speight isn’t getting his 2017 season off to a strong start against the tough Florida defense.
Early in the second quarter, Speight was picked off by safety Duke Dawson, who returned the pass for six points after a 48-yard return (watch here).
Just a few plays later, Speight made an even more egregious mistake on a bad overthrow to the left sideline. Cornerback CJ Henderson returned this one 41 yards for back-to-back defensive touchdowns.

These mistakes by Speight helped Florida take a 17-10 lead with a lot of time left in the second quarter.
