If his first possession of the 2017 season is any indication, second-year Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz is set for a breakout performance.
With his team facing a third-and-12 on its first series against the Washington Redskins, Wentz escaped a ton of pressure in the pocket, ultimately lobbing the ball to Nelson Agholor downfield for a touchdown.
It’s a play that reminds us of the great Brett Favre.

Talk about a Houdini act right there from the former No. 2 overall pick.
As it relates to Agholor, he struggled big time last year with Wentz tossing him the rock. But all reports from Philadelphia thus far this summer have been positive. This play magnifies that to a T.
