Top Boise State defender David Moa arrested for disturbing the peace

Boise State defensive lineman David Moa

It’s not yet clear what he did to get busted for disturbing the peace, but Boise State defensive lineman David Moa is in hot water stemming from an early morning Saturday arrest.

According to the Idaho Statesman, Moa was arrested around 2:25 a.m. Saturday morning and charged with one count of misdemeanor disturbing the peace.

Moa earned All-Mountain West Conference honors last year and is one of Boise State’s top defensive stars. He racked up 8.5 sacks last year and already has one to his credit in 2017. As noted by the report, he was listed on several preseason award watchlists, including the Outland Trophy and Bronco Nagurski Trophy.

It’s unclear what, if any discipline Moa will face from the school for this arrest. To this point, the school has yet to issue a statement, and there are no more details available to report about his arrest.
