Report: Jason Terry signs one-year deal to return to Bucks

Milwaukee Bucks guard Jason Terry

Jason Terry isn’t done shooting his shot just yet. The 40-year-old free agent guard is going to play in his 19th NBA season after agreeing on a deal with the Milwaukee Bucks, per Shams Charania of The Vertical.

“Free-agent guard Jason Terry has agreed to a guaranteed one-year, $2.3 million contract to return to the Milwaukee Bucks, league sources told The Vertical.”

Terry is an old pal of Bucks head coach Jason Kidd. The two of them teamed up back in in 2011 to bring a championship to the Dallas Mavericks.

Last season with the Bucks, Terry played in 74 games, averaging 4.1 points while showing he still has the stroke, nailing 42.7 percent from 3-point range. Milwaukee is a playoff contender, and it will certainly serve the franchise well to have such a tenured veteran helping to coach up young stars like Giannis Antetokounmpo and Jabari Parker.

Over the course of his stellar career, Terry has averaged 13.8 points and 3.9 assists.
