Le’Veon Bell heads to Dairy Queen for work

In case this whole football thing doesn’t work, Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell has a back-up plan. On his first off day of the season, Bell made good on a promise to work at the fast food chain Dairy Queen.

It’s something that Bell himself brought up to fans and fantasy football owners alike as a possibility while he was holding out earlier this summer.

On Monday, Bell showed up to work.

And he actually worked.

There you go, a man of his word.

Bell ended his holdout with the Steelers immediately prior to Week 1 and took the field against Cleveland in the team’s regular season opener. Obviously, this football thing is working out quite swimmingly. The next time you see the running back at Dairy Queen, it will likely be for a pre-game snack prior to putting up 200 yards against an unfortunate NFL defense.
