Jason Garrett praises Dak Prescott for ‘special’ performance against Broncos

Dak Prescott

The Dallas Cowboys were blown out on Sunday against the Denver Broncos. But that didn’t stop head coach Jason Garrett from praising the performance of quarterback Dak Prescott.

Certainly, Prescott had a bad game. He entered with four career interceptions and threw two on Sunday. For the first time in his career, his Cowboys were completely blown out.

Still, there’s no reason to worry about Prescott going forward. While his NFL career has gone fairly smooth, bad games do happen. Quarterbacks have been completely rattled by one game in the past. But most of those situations involved either unproven quarterbacks, or those who had a terrible playoff game. Prescott doesn’t fit either description.

Prescott’s performance was bad on Sunday. But if the coach saw leadership qualities and continued fight from his quarterback in a blowout during a bad game, it does bode well for Prescott moving forward.
