Giants fans boo team off the field after ugly first half

The New York Giants headed into halftime against the Detroit Lions down by the score of 17-7. Now, through the first six quarters of the season, Eli Manning’s offense has scored a total of 10 points.

Needless to say, fans in New Jersey were none too happy about their team’s first half performance.

Giants players are surely learning first hand not to upset their hometown fan base.

As it relates to the fans themselves, they have every reason to boo. From Eli Manning sacking himself to starting left tackle Ereck Flowers again being dominated by the pass rush, it was yet another ugly performance from the Giants’ offense.

They headed into halftime having put up 80 total yards of offense. This came on the heels of New York tallying 50 yards and two first downs in the first half of its Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
