Former LSU running back Leonard Fournette made a living of absolutely blowing up opposing defensive players in Baton Rouge. It’s what helped him become a top-five pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
But Fournette learned on Friday what was going to become evident at one point or another. The NFL isn’t college football. It’s a grown man’s game.
Jacksonville Jaguars teammate Sheldon Day showed him that first-hand during training camp practice.

Whew. Talk about blowing up the young running back.
In no way should this be considered a knock on Fournette. Even the best running backs of all-time have been hit to the turf in this manner.
It’s now all about the rookie keeping his head up and making sure this doesn’t happen in real-game action. No one in Jacksonville needs to see that.
