Kellen Clemens got off to a bad start Sunday after Philip Rivers left the game, but it didn’t last long as the Los Angeles Chargers took on the Seattle Seahawks.
Clemens missed on his first two passes before having his third tipped for a pick-six by Terrence Garvin. It wasn’t totally his fault, but the throw was late, and it was into coverage.

After the kickoff, Clemens got another chance to make a play. And he did on his next throw, hitting Travis Benjamin with a perfect deep pass down the right side. The speedy receiver did the rest.

Suddenly, the Chargers were right back on top, leading 14-10.
The first quarter was nothing if not exciting. A real treat for those fans in Los Angeles who took in the first Chargers game at StubHub Center.
