In the midst of a completely forgettable opening round at the 2017 PGA Championship, Joost Luiten produced a decidedly unforgettable shot.

Luiten stepped up to the par three fourth tee (his 13th hole) at seven-over. In one swing, he moved himself to five-over.

Luiten is still well down the leaderboard. Barring a terrific round on Friday, he’ll miss the cut.

Still, the 31-year-old will leave Quail Hollow with a fantastic memory of an ace in a major championship.
