Teddy Bridgewater inspiration behind children book series

Teddy Bridgewater

Minnesota Vikings quarterback Teddy Bridgewater is an inspiring young athlete, determined to gain 100 percent health and return to the field.

Bridgewater is also the inspiration behind author and girlfriend, Erika Cardona, who has started writing a series of children’s books called Little Bear Teddy. Cardonna says in the bio that she “decided to write these stories based on her best friend’s dream, per Jason Lisk of The Big Lead.”

Here is the official description of the book series according to Cardona’s website.

“A fictional book series that children of all ages can relate to. The series touches on real life events and values. Little Bear Teddy has four core values: Determination, Team work, Honesty and Kindness.

COMING SOON!””

The first book of the series is called, Big Dream Come True, which is autographed by Bridgewater. The adorable little bear on the front of the book is holding a football.

Cardonna has received nothing but very positive comments after announcing her future book release on Instagram.

It is cool that Bridgewater sparked Cardonna to put her love for writing and for children into one combined piece of work.

Bridgewater is currently rehabbing from a devastating knee injury he suffered last summer. He is making huge strides in his mobility and progress, but has yet to be cleared to return to the practice field.

We wish Bridgewater, as well as Cardonna, the best for their future career success.
