Report: Seahawks trying to trade WR Jermaine Kearse

Jermaine Kearse

The NFL has been quite busy with a flurry of trades that have already transpired. Next up could be the Seattle Seahawks moving veteran wide receiver Jermaine Kearse.

Kearse has played in 69 total games with the Seahawks since joining the team in 2012. His best season came back in 2015 when he tallied 49 receptions for 685 yards and five touchdowns.

Currently, the Seahawks house 12 receivers. Doug Baldwin, Paul Richardson and Tyler Lockett would remain the top options should Seattle trade Kearse.

The six-year veteran has two seasons remaining on the three-year, $13.5 million contract he signed with Seattle back in March of 2016.
