Report: Broncos taking trade calls on Pro Bowl S T.J. Ward

T.J. Ward

Could the Denver Broncos move Pro Bowl safety T.J. Ward sometime soon? According to one report, the answer to this question is yes.

Ward has been part of the No Fly Zone defense Denver sports the past three years. Before that, he spent four years toiling away with the Cleveland Browns after being selected by the franchise in the second round (No. 38 overall) of the 2010 NFL Draft.

Last year with the Broncos, Ward gobbled up 87 total tackles, one sack and one interception, which he returned for 23 yards. He received middling grades for his work by the folks at Pro Football Focus, ranking 48th among qualified safeties.

No doubt, John Elway would be looking for a nice haul in return for Ward, however. He’s a three-time Pro Bowler and was an integral player on the team’s Super Bowl-winning squad.
