Marshawn Lynch made national headlines last week when he sat down during the national anthem before the Oakland Raiders’ first preseason game.
There was plenty of speculation about his intent, though nothing concrete was every provided by Lynch himself on the matter. Then on Thursday after the Raiders practiced ahead of their second preseason game against the Los Angeles Rams Saturday, reporters tried to get something out of him.
At first, he wouldn’t even talk about it.

Then, after being pestered about it later on, Lynch responded to their questions as only he can.
Reporter asked Lynch about "elephant in room, the anthem": "That elephant just left the room cuz a little mouse ran in. That (mofo) left."

Another reporter took a shot at the anthem sit-down and Lynch started breaking down one of the team's plays

Clearly, Lynch isn’t going to be moved by anyone’s desire for answers. So maybe it’s time for everyone to just move on.
Lynch already has, that’s for sure.
