Coming off the best season of his young career, 21-year-old Karl-Anthony Towns appears to be a confident young man. And for good reason. As just a sophomore last year, Towns averaged 25.1 points and 12.3 rebounds while shooting at a 54 percent mark from the field.

Now with a new supporting cast that includes All-Stars Jeff Teague and Jimmy Butler, the dynamic big man is warning the rest of the NBA about his Minnesota Timberwolves.

“We’re going to have fun this year,” Towns said, via TMZ Sports. “I’ll tell you that much, watch out for us.”

Indeed.

Minnesota might not be up there with the Golden State Warriors and the San Antonio Spurs of the world, but this is surely a team on the rise.

In addition to acquiring Teague and Butler, the Wolves have also kicked the tires on trading for Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving. Should that happen, we could be talking about one of the top teams in the NBA this season.
